Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team. The role involves working in a high acuity, large volume ED. Experience in Level III trauma centers is essential, with responsibilities spanning from triage to administering complex interventions under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Barcode scanning medication administration
Managing medication drips
Blood product administration
Triage experience required; must pass hospital's Triage Test before allowed to triage
Set up chest tubes and arterial lines
Assist with trauma and code cases
Splinting, BiPAP/ventilator management
Good understanding of ESI; pediatric emergency medicine experience preferred
Experience with Point of Care Labs is a plus

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
Experience with Epic EMR system
Flexibility for weekend rotations, every other weekend
No on-call duty
Scrub color: Any, no logos
