Freight Brokerage Specialist

Responsibilities Transportation Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, or transportation services, monitor transportation schedules and adjust as needed. Logistics Coordination: Communicate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and customers; arrange transportation resources and ensure availability; track shipments and provide status updates. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, manifests, and invoices; maintain accurate transportation records and reports. Problem Resolution: Address delivery delays, route changes, and transportation issues; investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies or customer concerns; coordinate contingency plans during disruptions. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics such as on‑time delivery and transportation costs; analyze transportation data to improve operational efficiency; support continuous improvement initiatives. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
