Job Description

Job Summary:
Assists in the operating room by performing routine and delegated duties, focusing on neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for neuro, spine, and orthopedic procedures.
Assist surgeons during procedures by handling tools and maintaining a sterile environment.
Follow hospital policies and standards to ensure safe and efficient surgical workflows.
Monitor patient status and provide support to the surgical team as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical equipment post-procedure.
Comply with all on-call and shift schedules, including weekends and float assignments.

Qualifications:

Valid CST licensure (NBSTSA) required.
Current BLS certification from AHA.
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, with strong neuro, spine, and total joint surgery background.
Experience with Neuro, Spine, Ortho surgeries, and DaVinci system required.
Ability to work variable shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
