Pharmacy Technician Highlights The pay for this position is $20.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional weekend coverage may be required; hours adjusted when possible) Onsite position (Pittsburgh, PA 15275) This position is a Temporary (W2) assignment 40 hours/week Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescription drug products using a fulfillment system. Process prescription exceptions (including claim rejections, member outreach, and physician outreach as needed). Enter member demographics and prescription data into the processing system. Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues. Escalate prescription interpretation questions to a Pharmacist and follow direction on processing. Support inbound/outbound calls with patients or prescribers as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma/GED 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (at least 1–2 years strongly preferred) Current Pennsylvania Pharmacy registration and certification as required by the state Basic computer skills and comfort working in pharmacy systems Ability to work in an onsite, production/fulfillment environment Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
