The QA Analyst Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through systematic testing and analysis. This role involves designing test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects to support the development of reliable and user-friendly applications. The QA Analyst Tester works closely with development teams to identify issues early and foster continuous improvement in product quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
- Identify, record, and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify testing criteria
- Perform regression and functional testing for new releases
- Report testing results and provide feedback to improve software quality
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes
