About the Role:
Colon Rectal Associates of Central New York is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our specialized clinical team in Camillus, NY. Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories accurately in the EMR
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking
• Administer injections, collect specimens, collect blood, and perform basic clinical tasks as directed
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively between front and back office
• Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and procedure prep instructions
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Prior clinical or medical office experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty practice environment
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a reliable team player
