Construction Superintendent in Aurora

Job Summary Premier General Contractor with openings across the US seeks to add a Superintendent to oversee operations in the Denver, CO market. Salary $110,000 - $120,000 Responsibilities Project Planning: Oversee and direct all on‑site construction activities, ensuring work aligns with project plans, specifications, and safety standards; review project startup packet, plans, submittals, and specifications with internal team before mobilization; identify scope gaps and areas of concern in documents, schedule, and construction processes. Scheduling & Communication: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and overall project schedules; ensure timely completion of milestones and resolve delays or issues; oversee logistics and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment; maintain open communication with clients, architects, engineers, stakeholders, and provide progress updates. Execution: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and laborers onsite; foster a positive team environment; manage subcontractor performance and schedules; proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions; work closely with the project manager to resolve delays, shortages, or technical challenges. Quality & Safety: Perform regular checklists and inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications; enforce safety protocols; conduct safety meetings and inspections; ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, safety inspections, and other site‑specific documentation. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of increasing management responsibility; experience with multifamily projects and/or commercial builds exceeding $20M; ability to lead streamlined teams of staff and subcontractors; strong client interfacing skills; ability to coordinate with municipal and regulatory authorities; strong relationship‑building ability.
