Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an educational setting! Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• SLPA licensure or eligibility in Alabama
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for helping children of varying backgrounds and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions
• Prepare materials and adapt activities for students
• Track and document student progress and attendance
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to reinforce communication strategies
• Participate in professional development and stay informed on best practices
