CDL-A Local Truck Driver Job in Windsor Locks, CT

We’re hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local driving position based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. This opportunity offers daily home time, competitive pay, consistent freight, and an outstanding benefits package.

Drivers should be comfortable making deliveries throughout the New York City metro area while operating modern automatic equipment.

Job Details

Position Type: Local CDL-A Driver
Home Time: Daily
Trailer Type: Reefer
Company Driver
Approximately 1,350 Miles Weekly
Local Multi-Stop Routes
Early Morning Start Time (Approximately 3:00 AM)
Automatic Day Cab Equipment
Slip Seat Operation

Freight Information

Drivers deliver grocery freight to retail locations throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York City, Long Island, and surrounding areas.

This position includes:

Dry grocery freight
2-3 stops per day
Electric pallet jack unloading
Liftgate deliveries
Return product pickups
Backhaul freight
Occasional support on other local routes

Applicants should be comfortable with daily deliveries throughout the New York City boroughs.

Hiring Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months recent CDL-A experience
Ability to unload freight using an electric pallet jack
Comfortable driving in New York City
Meet all DOT requirements

Hiring Area

Drivers living in Connecticut and western Massachusetts within commuting distance of Windsor Locks are encouraged to apply.
