Job Summary:

Position Title: Medical Logistics Supply Specialist
Location: Havelock, NC 28532, United States
Duration: Multi-year Contract
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 07:30-16:00

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with military and other federal government personnel to ensure accurate completion of work.
• Compile, maintain and provide technical data needed to publish electronic catalogs. Product descriptions and prices change frequently requiring aggressive management and maintenance of catalogs to ensure product order accuracy.
• Manage recalls, provide training to customers and maintain customer service documentation
• Furnish technical assistance to supported activities related to all phases of supply functions via telephone, written request or personal contact.
• Receive guests and phone calls, personally providing the information desired in accordance with MTF policies.
• Assist customers in researching status of requisitions and direct follow up with purchasing or other appropriate individual(s).
• Ability to define or recognize problems and to collect the necessary data to establish the facts and recommend or take necessary action based on established guidelines.
• Assist with receipt and distribution of supplies in accordance with MTF policies, to include but not limited to medical/surgical consumables.
• Operate hand and power jacks and carts in performing warehouse duties
• Adhere to the MTF safety policies pertaining to the wearing of safety shoes and other protective clothing. Safety shoes and other protective clothing will not be at the expense of the government.
• Attend Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) hazardous waste training located aboard MCAS Cherry Point, NC.
• Handle hazardous material in accordance with MTF policies.
