THE SHORT VERSION

- $225,000-$240,000 base, plus a bonus opportunity of up to 40% of annual salary, paid quarterly

- Monday through Friday, daytime clinic hours. No evenings or weekends.

- A senior-focused panel. The majority of patients are Medicare Advantage: longitudinal, relationship-driven primary care in a practice built around value-based care.

- An established, physician-founded practice, not a startup panel. The founding physician still practices here and remains actively involved. The local population has grown more than 40% since 2020 and continues to add roughly 5% a year.

- Part of a physician-led, value-based healthcare organization operating more than 40 clinics with over 1,100 professionals: the infrastructure of a large group with the feel of a community practice.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A physician-led healthcare organization innovating in value-based care is seeking a Primary Care / Family Medicine physician for its New Braunfels, Texas clinic. The organization operates more than 40 clinics and employs over 1,100 professionals. Its practices deliver chronic disease treatment and management, women's health, wellness, urgent care, managed care, and workers' compensation services.

The New Braunfels clinic was founded by a practicing physician and joined the organization in 2022. The founder continues to practice and lead there. The clinic is growing and actively adding to its provider team, and this position sits alongside an expanding specialty presence, including on-site neurology.

Beyond the exam room, the organization invests in public health education, community outreach, and philanthropic work, and is committed to professional development and advancement for its physicians.

 

THE PRACTICE AND THE PANEL

- Patient mix: the majority of the panel is Medicare Advantage, seniors and geriatric patients.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime clinic hours. No evenings or weekends.

- Setting: outpatient clinic, within a physician-led group built around value-based care.

- Colleagues: the clinic is growing and adding to its provider team, with an expanding specialty presence on site, including neurology.

 

WHAT YOU NEED

Required

- MD or DO

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and/or Geriatric Medicine

- Active Texas medical license, or eligibility to obtain one

- Authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

- Base salary of $225,000-$240,000

- Bonus opportunity of up to 40% of annual salary, paid quarterly based on patient volume, documentation, and clinical performance.

- Sign-on bonus and relocation options

- Malpractice insurance including tail coverage

- $3,500 CME allowance plus four CME days

- 401(k) with a 100% company match on the first 3% and 50% from 4% to 5%, with no vesting period on company matches
