Responsibilities
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Documents ongoing patient status and updates in the medical record; communicates changes to the care team promptly.
- Participates in care planning, patient education, and discharge planning as appropriate within the unit.
- Note: This department only includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses; Float Pool nurses working a unit should clock in to the unit being worked.

Requirements
- Current, active California RN license (or eligible to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or higher)
- Ability to provide safe, effective direct patient care in an inpatient tele-nursing environment; strong critical thinking and independent judgment
- Availability to commit to a 13-week assignment starting 10/19/2026 and to a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
