Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing. This position requires proficiency in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry Med Surg patients. The RN will provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.Shift DetailsScheduled: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM36 hours scheduled per week24 hours guaranteedAbility to float to similar units or multiple locations within the regionResponsibilitiesDeliver nursing care to assigned patients with various medical conditions, especially in oncology and telemetry.Monitor and analyze patient vitals and progression, including the ability to read telemetry strips.Provide support during medical emergencies and facilitate smooth patient transitions within the healthcare continuum.Weekend and Holiday RequirementsWeekend and holiday work will be determined by unit rotation, with an expectation of working every other weekend and holidays.QualificationsMinimum of 24 months of Med/Surg nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.No infractions on state nursing license to practice.Additional RequirementsCandidates must have a current and valid state nursing license at the time of application.Flexibility with work location, shifts, and departments is highly encouraged to expedite the hiring process.Travel experience is preferred.Dress CodeUniform to include navy scrubs.Application NotesAll applications must include a comprehensive cover page detailing the candidate's readiness for various shifts and departments.
