Research Assistant I 15 hours (Dr Schaffer's Lab) Neurosciences

Internal Medicine
Description
Under direct supervision provides support services for research projects.
Responsibilities- Review relevant scientific literature related to computational neuroscience and neuromodulators.
- Assist in developing and running computational models and simulations to investigate the role of diverse neuromodulators in credit assignment.
- Analyze and visualize research data and simulation results.
- Discuss research findings and progress with the mentor and other members of the research team.
- Participate in training to develop computational research skills and methodologies.
- Take on increasing responsibility and independence in research activities as experience is gained
- Performs other related duties
- Education: HS/GED
- Experience: None
- Interest in neuroscience computational research mathematics computer science or a related quantitative field preferred
