Neuro IR RN / Interventional Radiology Contract Shift Details Schedule: 4x10 Days Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Call: Required Required Qualifications Certifications BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years IR experience Neuro IR procedure experience required Minimum 1 year Neuro experience OR neuro exposure in a general ICU setting Previous travel experience required Level One Trauma experience preferred Clinical Skills Expected Must be comfortable caring for patients from: Neonates Pediatrics Adults Geriatrics Expected Procedure/Clinical Background Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures Stroke/neuro patient management Sedation/procedural care Critical care monitoring Emergency neuro interventions Likely exposure to: Thrombectomy cases Cerebral angiograms Embolizations Stroke intervention workflows Traveler Requirements Travel experience mandatory Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted Overall Assignment Type This is a high-acuity Neuro IR role best suited for an experienced procedural RN with: Strong Neuro IR background Critical care confidence Procedural sedation skills Stroke/neuro expertise Comfort taking call The combination of: Neuro IR experience, ICU/neuro background, and multi-age procedural care makes this a more advanced specialty assignment rather than a general IR contract.
