Job Full Description

Job Summary:

Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coating.
Mix and prepare paint according to job requirements.
Operate handheld spray guns to apply wet paint or coatings as specified.
Operate portable powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes according to blueprints or technical documents.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble painting equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

Prefer at least 2 years of experience as an industrial painter in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and paint specifications independently.
Familiarity with various paint types, coatings, and application methods.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing ladders.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
