Technical Assistant – Knoxville Office Job Summary and Description: Provides assistance to deliver customer requests and execute deliverables. Supports leadership by gathering, monitoring, analyzing, and organizing information on current and emerging science and technology as well as financial and contractual data. Supports technical staff by gathering, monitoring, analyzing, and organizing member information. Supports technical teams in their deliverable publication process. Supports technical staff to ensure research results and associated materials are stored in a centralized content management system. Works with program members to help access program capabilities, evaluate the value of their membership, and resolve member-related concerns and questions. Manages the planning, preparation, and organization of technical conferences and workshops. Supports the technical staff in the purchase of goods and services. Provides support in the preparation of technical presentations and other materials for advisory meetings, external publications, conferences, and workshops. Qualifications AA degree in a scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in an administrative support role. General understanding of the project management process. Capability to handle word processing, database, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to identify, analyze, negotiate, and solve problems. Capability to perform multiple and complex tasks with limited direction while knowing when to seek guidance. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $58,000 USD to $65,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate and may vary based on education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data. The role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program and standard employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), STD/LTD, paid family leave, life and accident insurance, and paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
