The Maru Program delivers mission-critical, modern software solutions across our customer’s enterprise using Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-native methodologies. As a UI/UX Developer, you will design and develop intuitive, user-centered interfaces for mission-critical applications. This role bridges design and engineering, focusing on creating seamless user experiences while delivering production-ready front-end solutions.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in user experience design, front-end development, and usability principles, with the ability to translate complex technical workflows into clean, efficient, and accessible interfaces. This individual will work closely with backend engineers, product owners, and end users to improve usability, performance, and overall user satisfaction.Clearance Level RequiredActive TS/SCI with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination.Essential ResponsibilitiesUI/UX Design & Implementation: Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web-based applicationsUser Experience Optimization: Translate complex workflows into simple, efficient user experiences that improve usability and adoptionFront-End Development: Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar)Usability & Accessibility: Ensure applications meet usability standards and accessibility best practicesDesign Systems: Contribute to and maintain consistent design patterns, components, and style guidesUser Research & Feedback: Gather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve interface design and functionalityCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to align UI/UX with system capabilitiesPerformance Optimization: Improve front-end performance, responsiveness, and scalabilityBasic QualificationsUS citizenship is required per contractBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2–6 years of relevant experienceStrong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applicationsUnderstanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction designExperience working in Linux-based environmentsAbility to translate user needs into functional design solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana or similar)Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integrationExposure to CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment workflowsExperience working in Agile environmentsExperience designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for data-driven GEOINT applications.#Maru#NSBAIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
