Responsibilities

Cultivate and grow a robust client base by connecting with local businesses and families in the Jersey City area.

Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure our clients are adequately protected against the unexpected.

Develop custom insurance proposals that align with the specific long-term goals of your clients.

Maintain ongoing, meaningful contact with your policyholders to review their evolving insurance needs.

Work closely with our internal underwriting team to secure competitive terms for high-value accounts.

Participate in local community events to build brand awareness and establish The Atlantic District as a trusted local resource.

Requirements

Active Property and Casualty Insurance License in New Jersey.

Three or more years of experience in direct insurance sales.

Solid track record of managing and expanding a personal book of business.

Expertise in using industry-standard CRM platforms to track client interactions.

Ability to articulate complex coverage options in clear, everyday language.

Strong organizational skills for managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
