Environmental Planner II

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Planner II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental assessments and impact studies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Your primary duties will include analyzing land use plans, reviewing project proposals, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions that promote environmental stewardship. You will utilize your expertise to recommend mitigation strategies, prepare reports, and present findings to project teams and regulatory agencies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in environmental science, planning, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in GIS software and environmental modeling tools is essential, as you will use these technologies to support your analyses and visualize data effectively. Additionally, excellent communication skills are crucial for engaging with community members, governmental entities, and other stakeholders.
