Regional Distribution Manager Medical Device - North East

We are seeking an experienced Regional Distribution Manager to drive sales growth across a multi-state territory for an established medical device company. The product portfolio consists primarily of medical consumables used within acute care hospitals and ambulatory healthcare settings .

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with additional responsibility for developing, supporting, and managing a network of 1099 independent sales representatives and distribution partners throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

Drive direct sales and revenue growth across the assigned territory.
Develop relationships with hospitals, ambulatory facilities, distributors, and key healthcare decision-makers.
Recruit, develop, and manage 1099 independent sales representatives within the region.
Work closely with distribution partners to increase product adoption and market penetration.
Provide field support, product training, and sales direction to independent representatives.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic territory growth plans.
Maintain strong visibility in the field and accountability for regional sales performance.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of medical device or medical consumable sales experience.
Experience selling into acute care and/or ambulatory healthcare markets .
Proven success managing a multi-state territory.
Experience working with independent sales representatives and/or distributor networks strongly preferred.
Entrepreneurial, hands-on sales professional comfortable both personally closing business and leading others to drive results .
Ability to travel regularly throughout the territory.
