Warehouse Assistant

As an Assistant Warehouse Manager/Truck Driver at Daly Seven , you are a vital operational pillar supporting our 42 hotel properties across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. You work closely with the Warehouse Manager and collaborate across Design, Corporate Maintenance, Operations, and Purchasing departments to ensure seamless logistics, inventory control, and property support. • Assist the Warehouse Manager with loading and unloading hotel goods, including furniture, carpet, artwork, wall coverings, PTAC units, and hotel supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment to optimize daily logistics.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and promptly update team members on deliveries, stock levels, or damaged items.
• Partner and collaborate daily with Design, Corporate Maintenance, Operations, and Purchasing departments on property logistics.
• Execute additional tasks, projects, or operational duties as assigned by management.

• Safely transport hotel goods and supplies to properties across NC, VA, and SC on an as-needed basis.
• Assist the Daly Seven, Inc. traveling maintenance crew with minor hotel repairs and property support when not traveling or conducting warehouse duties.
• Travel on a daily basis, including occasional overnight stays (primarily in South Carolina) as project demands dictate.
• Maintain complete compliance with all company policies, safety protocols, and future procedural updates.

• Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques when moving heavy hotel furniture, equipment, and goods.
• Inspect transported goods and warehouse equipment daily, reporting any damage or safety hazards immediately.
• Adhere to all company driving, transportation, and safety guidelines while operating company vehicles.
• Maintain professionalism and open communication with corporate teams, maintenance crews, and hotel staff across all properties.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience in warehouse operations, material handling, logistics, or general maintenance support.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking, loading/unloading heavy goods, and basic building maintenance or repairs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Physical stamina to bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds independently, with the requirement to seek assistance for items over 50 pounds.

• Ability to travel daily with flexibility for occasional overnight stays.
• Monday - Friday, typically 8 AM - 5 PM.
