If you're eager to gain real-world engineering experience and work on meaningful projects, this role is perfect for you! In this internship, you'll work closely with our Manufacturing Engineering group on various projects involving our custom equipment. You'll get hands-on exposure to mechanical design, project management, and fabrication-skills that will set you up for success in your career. You'll lead projects from start to finish, from designing with CAD to hands-on fabrication and installation, giving you the chance to make a real impact. You'll be part of a team that values continuous improvement and practical problem-solving. This is a paid internship. It is full-time during the summer and part-time with a flexible schedule during the school year. We're looking for candidates available to work year-round, balancing their academic schedules and professional growth. Highlights of your role Harness your creativity utilizing Creo 3D CAD software and complete fabrication tasks Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to develop solutions that blend mechanical and automated technologies Contribute your engineering expertise to create innovative products in a multi-disciplinary environment Assist in designing and implementing new equipment and processes that improve efficiency and capabilities Ensure project goals are met by managing scope, timelines, and milestones while supporting seamless production integration and preparing essential documentation You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Strong mechanical proficiency and hands-on skills Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Demonstrate project management skills Also want to make sure you have Currently pursuing an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering : Sophomore or Junior status preferred We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin Marvin Composites produces custom fiberglass components used in many of the premium windows and doors manufactured by Marvin, a family-owned and -led company.
