Senior Software Engineer (.NET, Angular, Azure)
Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6–12 Months
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise applications using.NET, Angular, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices. This role involves building scalable applications, modernizing legacy systems, developing cloud-native solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software. A growth mindset and willingness to leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality are highly valued.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C#,.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure development practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security
- Terraform or Bicep
- Docker and Kubernetes
- PowerShell or Python scripting
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
