Core Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments
• Assure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations at each stage
• Collaborate actively with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve optimal diagnostic results
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Meticulously document procedures and keep patient records up-to-date within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the newest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices

Educational Background

• A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable qualification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
