Technical Support EngineerThe primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support to the Operations Team in the areas of efficiency, production line layout/flow, continuous improvement projects and support of day to day manufacturing operations.Responsibilities- Refine and update existing documentation.- Assist with training and technical support of Operations personnel.- Assist with CAPA investigations and Corrective Actions.- Support Lean initiatives such as 6S, Daily Accountability process.- Support/lead continuous improvement projects.- Perform other duties as assigned.- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.- Must have effective oral and written communication skills.- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.• Minimum 3 years experience required.• Experience and understanding of manufacturing processes.• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.• Intermediate MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PP and Visio.Physical Requirements/Work Environment- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.- Work is performed in a normal office environment with periodic work performed in a controlled manufacturing area requiring protective clothing and safety glasses.
