Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an orthopedic-focused setting. This role involves working closely with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility, function, and overall wellness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans
- Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs
- Incorporating techniques such as Pilates, yoga, and strength training where appropriate
- Educating patients on home exercise programs and wellness strategies
- Creating a positive, supportive, and motivating environment for patient recovery
Education, licensure, and experience:
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience or certification in Pilates, yoga, or strength training preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for delivering patient-centered care and improving quality of life
