We are enthusiastic about hiring a professional Security Officer to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to maintain a safe and secure environment. You will safeguard our premises, assets, and employees while preventing any illegal, unsafe, or inappropriate activity.
The ideal candidate has experience in public safety and security, demonstrates strong situational awareness, and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, public safety, or a related field
- Strong observational and situational awareness skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Skills
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Ability to de-escalate situations professionally and respectfully
- Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and incident logging
- Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with employees, visitors, and law enforcement
- Physical ability to patrol, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed
