Job Responsibilities
  • Personalized Treatment Development: Assess individual needs and formulate tailored therapeutic plans to support the achievement of functional goals.
  • Implementing Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborative Care: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Education for Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapeutic methods to encourage continued progress at home.
  • Monitor & Document Progress: Keep track of clinical developments and refine treatment strategies as necessary to maintain patient progress.
Educational Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ongoing professional education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
