Job Responsibilities
- Personalized Treatment Development: Assess individual needs and formulate tailored therapeutic plans to support the achievement of functional goals.
- Implementing Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Education for Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapeutic methods to encourage continued progress at home.
- Monitor & Document Progress: Keep track of clinical developments and refine treatment strategies as necessary to maintain patient progress.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ongoing professional education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
