Job Description Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel PACU position specializing in post-anesthesia care. The role involves providing advanced bedside care in a fast-paced surgical unit with a focus on patient recovery and safety. Responsibilities:

- Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs during recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief as prescribed.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations in the PACU.
- Adhere to all unit policies and safety protocols, including ASPAN guidelines.
- Valid RN license with at least 1 year of PACU or ICU experience.
- Proven ability to perform general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular post-surgical procedures.
- Current ACLS certification required; comfortable with Meditech EMR.
- Pleasant personality, easy-going demeanor, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
- Experience in a fast-paced surgical environment strongly preferred.
