Job Title: Registered Nurse-Surgical Specialty Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule Notes: Days/Nights, 3x12hr/36 hrs a week (Block Scheduling) Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with a wide range of health conditions, from simple to complex. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective patient care, coordinating with healthcare teams, and supporting patients and families throughout hospitalization and discharge. Essential Responsibilities: Collect, monitor vital signs, and other physiological data; intervene when necessary. Administer medications as prescribed, including IV fluids and blood products. Provide competent and compassionate patient care. Communicate care plans with patients and their families during hospitalization and discharge. Educate patients and families about hospital procedures and care instructions. Coordinate care by making referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals. Required Skills & Experience: 1 year of experience required. Travel and Trauma level 1 experience required. Required Certifications & Licenses: Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
