Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities Auditing mortgage loan files to measure performance against legal, regulatory compliance, credit underwriting, investor and internal bank policies Performing file reviews for both pre-funding and post-closing loans to ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures Maintaining a strong professional relationship with personnel in the loan originations and loan servicing departments Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, related field, or equivalent experience With bachelor’s degree: 1 year of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting Without bachelor’s degree (or equivalent): 3 years of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting 2-3 years of experience in real estate lending, mortgage compliance, or mortgage banking One (1) year of experience in underwriting mortgage loans, loan processing, and/or performing quality control underwriting Hard Skills Auditing File Review Regulatory Compliance Credit Underwriting Performance Measurement Soft Skills Professional Relationship Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
