In this role you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of products as invoiced to licensed accounts or between company locations. This role will service customers by ensuring timely deliveries, accurate check-in, and storage of products. This position is a safety sensitive position that requires the employee to be able to perform job-related task without a direct threat to their safety or the safety of others. Our Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of educationand experience One year of driver experience Must be 21 years of age or older for commercial motor vehicle Valid CMV / CDL / Class A or B license Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. for an extended period Your Responsibilities Always drive equipment in a professional and safe manner Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner Collect and return all payments as required Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned Complete appropriate paperwork throughout the delivery process Ensure truck check-in procedures are followed daily Ensure truck service and safety issues are reported daily Maintain an accurate DOT logbook, if required Must always follow DOT Regulations Attend monthly safety meetings Attend required safety courses and other classes as needed Report any local, state, or federal moving violations to management Perform other job-related duties as assigned Safety Requirement Able to perform job-related task without hindering the safety of employee or others Glazer's Beer & Beverage is committed to maintaining safe operations on our hometown roadways by ensuring that our driving employees are qualified to safely operate our vehicles while conducting business.
