We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and hands-on Sales Manager to help drive revenue and build strong relationships for a branded limited-service hotel in the Metro Detroit area.

This is more than a traditional sales position. We are looking for someone who understands that success in a limited-service hotel comes from teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to step in wherever needed . While your primary focus will be generating revenue, building relationships, and increasing occupancy, you may also assist other departments and support daily hotel operations when necessary.

What Youll Do:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and hotel revenue
• Build relationships with local businesses, corporate accounts, organizations, and community partners
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, outside sales calls, and account development
• Manage and grow existing corporate and local accounts
• Respond to group and corporate inquiries and help secure new business
• Work closely with the General Manager and hotel team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
• Monitor market conditions and identify opportunities to increase business
• Represent the hotel in the local community and develop strong professional relationships
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, and prospect pipelines
• Help ensure an outstanding guest experience from booking through departure
• Collaborate closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and operations teams
• Assist other departments and support hotel operations when needed
• Be a hands-on team player who is willing to step in wherever necessary to support the hotel and its guests

What You Bring:

• Previous hotel sales, hospitality sales, customer service, or relationship-building experience preferred
• Experience with a branded hotel is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prospect and generate new business
• Comfortable making sales calls, networking, and developing local accounts
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• A positive, professional, and results-driven attitude
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Willingness to be flexible and assist with hotel operations outside of traditional sales responsibilities
• Knowledge of the Metro Detroit market is a plus

We are looking for someone who understands that in a full-service hotel, everyone works together . The ideal candidate is not someone who says, Thats not my job. Instead, they are someone who recognizes what needs to be done and is willing to help.

You may be meeting with a potential corporate client in the morning, following up on sales leads in the afternoon, and helping support the front desk or another department when the hotel needs you.
