Is your recent experience tied to Value Based Care in the every changing US Healthcare environment? If so, please read on/apply! Our multi-year client is bringing their Value Based Care function in-house after a decade of growth (organic and acquisition). We are searching for a Subject Matter Expert for this specialty healthcare organization to analyze different models / vendors depending on the region / state & execute a plan off those findings. This Senior Business Data Analyst will lead that plan & run monthly / quarterly metrics to tweak or pivot off the results. Once up and running, assisting the Revenue Cycle team in similar data driven analytics off audits will be a secondary function of this Senior Business Data Analyst. Responsibilities: The Senior Business Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technical SMEs to analyze, model, document, and manage healthcare data and business systems requirements This role involves acting as a liaison between business and clinical teams, translating complex business information needs into actionable insights Conduct data analysis on various disparate healthcare datasets using Power BI, extracting data and helping with reporting Work with business stakeholders to gather and define business and functional requirements, technical specifications, and data mappings Create detailed documentation of features, functions, and data workflows to support application development and implementation Define and document processes, workflows, and feed specifications to enhance product development activities Assist with Revenue Cycle Analysis / Audits Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred Power BI required Working Knowledge of Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) In-depth knowledge of payer data sources (Member/Enrollment, Claims, Revenue, etc.) and clinical & population health data Understanding of HIPAA policies, CMS (Medicare/Medicaid systems), and quality measures ***Hybrid preferred, will consider remote candidates in EST/CST willing to make occasional visits to Maryland Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing, Analyst, and Quality Assurance Industries Hospitals and Health Care Get notified when a new job is posted.
