Mechanical Construction Purchasing Agent

Overview:

We're hiring a Purchasing Manager to manage material and equipment procurement.

Responsibilities

Process material and equipment purchase orders daily

Select reliable, cost-effective suppliers

Enter and file purchase orders in Vista by Viewpoint

Work with vendors to confirm pricing and delivery

Reconcile and file vendor order acknowledgements

Collaborate with Project Managers for purchase details

Obtain quotes from multiple vendors as needed

Coordinate material deliveries with vendors and warehouse staff

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in Purchasing Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical systems, parts

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

SAP, Oracle, ERP System, Gemilius, Box, ISG, and Smartsheet's

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
