About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership across various operational areas, including project execution, field performance, workforce development, safety, and overall business performance. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, strengthening accountability, and supporting the company's long-term growth strategy. Key responsibilities for the COO include leading day-to-day operational performance, overseeing project execution to meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives, and partnering with the executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in construction, industrial services, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-driven environments, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a division or business unit with significant annual revenue and will be adept at P&L management, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance oversight. A strong understanding of project delivery, workforce planning, operations management, safety, and financial performance is essential. The role also requires excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. The COO will be expected to foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence, while also developing and mentoring operational leaders and supporting major client relationships and strategic pursuits.
