Location: Auburn & Opelika, Alabama (Portland, OR for internal reference; actual position in AL)

Start Date: Negotiable

End Date/Duration: Permanent

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans for eye diseases
• Fit contact lenses and recommend eyewear solutions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient care
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment options
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits
• Stay current with advancements in optometry technology and practices

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Valid AL State Optometry License

• Prior experience with ocular disease management
• Comfortable with contact lens fittings and pre/post operative care
• Strong communication and patient service skills
