This role will contribute to the company's success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products. Essential Functions: Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels Performs hand soldering on electronic assemblies Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks Strong Customer Focus Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience. Capable of following an engineered assembly process and maintaining consistent quality and productivity levels. Ability to work overtime as needed Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. Proficient in using Microsoft office programs Preferred Additional Skills: Previous assembly skills and strong mechanical background L3Harris product knowledge Self-Starter, Willingness to train and mentor entry level assemblers Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the E3 process Lean manufacturing skills CostPoint system knowledge The salary range for this role in Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $41,500-76,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
