They move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description. What you’ll do Work in deli, frontlines of customer service—your smile can make a difference between a good and great shopping experience. In the bakery—help a family have a great meal and celebrate special moments by decorating cakes. Work in the dry grocery department—ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Perform detailed cleaning of shelves and department, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food products. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
