We're looking for a Chemical Process Engineer in Tempe, AZ who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You'll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. In this role, you will:Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.Coordinate on designs with equipment vendors.Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.Bring your creativity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, ambitious spirit, and desire to bring value to your team, and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together.Here's what you'll needBachelor's degree in Chemical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain license within 6 months.At least 8-10 years of experience in a chemical process engineering roleAbility to work onsite (hybrid) in Tempe, AZIdeally, you'll also have:Experience in semiconductor facilities systems designExperience mentoring junior professionals and leading project teamsUnderstanding of hazardous material storage handling codes and standardsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideasDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge baseAbility to work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertiseAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams with members based in various regionsPassion for engineering and developing solutionsPosted Salary Range: Minimum $102,900.00.
