Lead Performance Improvement Consultant

BJC is seeking a Lead Performance Improvement Consultant to support our Medical Group. This role partners closely with physician offices and clinics across the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies along with experience collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

This is a hybrid position that requires being on site several days a week. Must be located in the Greater St. Louis area.

Role Purpose

Develops and leads process improvement/transformation project and operations teams in order to accomplish measurable business results. Responsible for contributing to the development of best practices and optimization of resources and tools within projects and across improvement efforts. Mentors, trains, and develops team members and employees in continuous process improvement methodologies and operational excellence practices. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

Guides project teams and operation teams in conducting continuous improvement and process redesign projects using appropriate analytic and facilitation techniques as the situation requires. Structures and conducts best practice research, process analyses, benchmarking, and performance baseline measurement activities. Responsible for expert level application and knowledge transfer of transformation core competencies. Manages and has oversight for programs and team members related to:

• 6 Sigma Lean rapid improvement events and associated activities
• Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis, and tracking
• Change management
• Team facilitation
• Data collection and analysis
• Risk/Issue identification and mitigation
• Stakeholder tollgates/reports

Develops and executes work plans for strategic process redesign and performance improvement initiatives as well as responsible for expert level application and knowledge transfer of transformation core competencies.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 5-10 years

Supervisor Experience: 2 years

Preferred Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree

Experience: 10+ years

Supervisor Experience: 2-5 years

Licenses & Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma, PMI, Project Management Prof
