Quality Assurance Representative

Description Our Company SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services. Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the VP of Operations or Pharmacist in Charge and/or Quality Assurance Manager
- Conduct audit related activities including but not limited to, obtaining, and analyzing data, reviewing records, supporting documentation, and completed audit work papers
- Monitors pharmacy related processes and data for compliance and accuracy
- Performs ongoing assessment and monitor pharmacy related areas
- Assist with the development of training and training materials for new and existing employees
- Work with internal teams to standardize training processes and systems
- Assist and coordinate any QI Projects, as needed
- Implement and maintain department objectives to ensure compliance of JCAHO accrediting
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Registered with Florida Board of Pharmacy / Licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Long Term Care Pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of the Pharmacy floor area, a plus
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Uses good judgment and independent decision-making
- Must be detail oriented
- Microsoft Excel; Frameworks
- Ability to be mobile in performing job duties
- 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
