Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Telemetry – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment. Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule. Patient ratios of 1:4 during days, 1:5 on weekends.

Highlights:

• Work in a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center with a 29-bed Neuro Telemetry unit
• Comprehensive Stroke Center with dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (4 beds for continuous EEG monitoring)
• Interdisciplinary team approach with support from IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for diverse neurosurgical and neurologic patients including stroke, trauma, craniotomy, spinal cord injury, and seizure disorders
• EPIC electronic health record system in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Free employee parking and dedicated mentorship for new caregivers

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown preferred
• Proficiency with peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Experience with neurosurgical patients, stroke care, post-TPA care, seizure disorders, and spinal cord injuries preferred
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float between units and work required weekend shifts
