Position Summary TheMedical-Surgical Registered Nursedelivershigh-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients in our medical-surgicalunit. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, andevaluating nursing care while supporting the interdisciplinary team to achieveoptimal patient outcomes. This position is ideal for nurses who possess strong clinicaljudgment, compassion, and a desire to build meaningful relationships withpatients and colleagues in a respectful, community-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Providesafe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policiesand nursing standards. Performthorough patient assessments and document findings accurately. Administerprescribed medications and treatments while monitoring and evaluatingpatient responses. Collaboratewith physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate patientcare. Educatepatients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Supportand participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practiceimplementation. Requirements CurrentRN license in the State of Texas (in good standing). Graduateof an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). BLS,ACLS and PALS certificationsrequired and current.
