What We're Looking For Make every guest feel welcome with responsive, friendly and genuine service Lead by example and bring Urbane Cafe's values to life every shift Keep operations running smoothly — right person, right place, right time Motivate your team to show up and perform at their best Manage breaks so every team member gets what they’re owed, on time Delegate tasks fairly while still pulling your own weight Treat every team member with dignity, consistency and respect Follow up on delegated tasks and hold the standard What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Great communication and people skills Basic math skills Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 lbs Requirements Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written – Bilingual a plus High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in service and food, generally involving at least one year of front‑of‑the‑house operations leadership Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
