Inventory Control TechnicianPosition: Inventory Control Technician (Night Shift)Location: Midland, TXRoles and Responsibilities:Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are properly documented.Perform daily cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged materials.Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately record incoming materials and products.Pick, stage, issue, and transfer materials according to work orders and inventory requirements.Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, organized, and rotated.Operate ERP systems to update inventory transactions.Process purchase orders receiving documents, shipping records, and material transfer documentation.Monitor inventory locations and ensure accurate bin, lot, serial number, and quantity information.Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, production, shipping, and other departments to resolve inventory issues.Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas.Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.Prepare inventory reports and provide accurate information regarding stock levels and discrepancies.Assist with inventory reconciliation and adjustments while maintaining proper documentation.Ensure compliance with company inventory policies, procedures, and quality standards.Prioritize tasks to meet production, shipping, receiving, and customer requirements.Perform additional warehouse and inventory-control duties as assigned.Education, Qualifications & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.2+ years of Oil field experienceAbility to safely operate warehouse forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, when authorized.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information.Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally, if required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to work primarily nights shifts, weekends, overtime and flexible schedules as required.Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse operations, material handling practices, receiving, shipping, stocking, picking, and issuing materials.Understanding of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and physical inventory processesKnowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/WMS software, and barcode scanningKnowledge of shipping documentation, purchase orders, packing lists, and inventory recordsUnderstanding of workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesKnowledge of basic quality control and material inspection proceduresStrong data entry and recordkeeping skillsAbility to accurately count, identify, label, and track inventorySkilled in using computers, scanners, spreadsheets, and inventory management softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and customer-service skillsAbility to maintain accurate inventory records with minimal supervisionAbility to identify shortages, overages, damaged materials and investigate discrepancies make necessary adjustments.Ability to meet productivity, accuracy, safely and efficiently in a warehouse or industrial environmentWorking Conditions:Primarily works in operational facilities, warehouses, manufacturing areas, service centers.Occasionally work in a professional office environment with frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.Regular interaction with employees, management, customers, vendors, and service providers.Exposed to moving mechanical equipment, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering industrial, warehouse and shop.Frequently manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.May be required to work extended hours, evenings, or weekends during periods of increased operational demand, project implementation, or emergency response activities.Travel to supplier facilities, locations, or operational sites may be required on an occasional basis.Must adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Work in Various Temperatures.Hours/Shifts:12hr Night Shift / Monday-FridayPhysical demands:Ability to perform repetitive counting, lifting, standing,
