A professional services firm with a dedicated Corporate Tax Solutions Family offering comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and accounting services to clients across multiple industries. (Confidential Client) provides resources, training, and support to help employees excel and grow their careers.
Position Summary
As the Corporate Tax Director, you'll be a member of the Corporate Tax Solutions Family and work on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects. You'll supervise multiple client services teams, manage engagement relationships with various clients, and have the opportunity to grow toward Partner or Managing Director roles. From day one, you'll be empowered by (Confidential Client)'s tools, technology, training, and support to take responsibility for quality work and help you achieve more confidently.
Must-Haves
- Experience in corporate tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to supervise and mentor staff on tax projects
- Expertise in reviewing complex tax returns and income tax provisions
- Sales and business development experience
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Tax research and consulting expertise
- Supervise multiple client services teams on engagements
- Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects across various industries
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients
- Market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies
- Manage engagement budgets and financial performance
- Support firm growth and profitability through sales and revenue targets
- Participate in business development and professional industry events
- Manage engagement fundamentals including realization, utilization, leverage, and accounts receivable
- Develop, train, and mentor staff; assess performance for reviews
- Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns
- Conduct primary and secondary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
- Research and consult on various tax matters
- Maintain strong client relationships as primary service team contact
- Gain understanding of client operations and business objectives
- Attend professional development and training sessions regularly
- Tax planning and compliance expertise
- ASC 740 income tax accounting knowledge
