The Black Whale, the premier South Coast dining destination and our soon to open Cisco New Bedford are now hiring - we're looking for a sushi chefs for our creative, high quality, innovative and successful restaurants!

Applicants will demonstrate the ability to come to work prepared, enthusiastic, fully capable of providing hospitable service. Our kitchen staff is a wonderful team to join. Previous kitchen experience, as well as passion for food, beverage, and service are all a plus!

The sushi chef is a vital part of our restaurant and your tasks will involve:

• All parts of sushi rolling
• Making crunchii + stacker
• Preparing ingredients for sushi
• Thawing fish, cutting, prepping
• Making various sauces
• Making rice
• Checking inventory/stocking
• Cleaning cutting board and sushi bar surroundings
