IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Spring, TX

A Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician is needed to support a busy sterile compounding pharmacy with a focus on wellness medications. This role offers the potential for contract to hire and possibly direct hire pending performance and business needs.


Located in Spring, TX, the pharmacy team consists of 2 pharmacists and 2 technicians working collaboratively to process approximately 2,000 vials per week. The position requires strict adherence to clean room protocols and sterile compounding procedures to maintain product safety and quality.


Schedule & Hours:

• Full-time
• Typically 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
• Shifts vary depending on compounding volume
• Pharmacy hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounded medications according to established protocols and quality standards
• Maintain a strict clean room environment and follow all safety and sterility guidelines
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure timely preparation and distribution
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with current PTCB certification
• Sterile compounding experience with relevant certification
• Demonstrated strong clean room discipline and attention to detail
• Punctuality and reliability are essential to meet production demands
